Bernard Drainville of the Coalition avenir Québec holds the strongest position in Lévis for the October 5, 2026, Quebec general election, with traders assigning him roughly 70 percent implied probability. As the incumbent since 2022 and a former cabinet minister with deep local roots, Drainville benefits from name recognition and the riding’s recent CAQ voting patterns, where the party captured nearly 49 percent in the prior contest. Projections from models updated in early September place CAQ support in the mid-to-high 40s, ahead of the Conservative Party of Québec’s Karine Laflamme in the low-to-mid 20s. Laflamme’s candidacy reflects broader provincial momentum for the PCQ, yet remains limited by the riding’s structural tilt. Other contenders, including PQ’s Yanick Godbout and QS’s Simon Beauchamp-Léveillé, trail further behind in both polling aggregates and market pricing. The nomination deadline on September 17 and the short campaign window leave limited scope for late shifts absent major provincial developments.
