Recent official forecasts from multiple meteorological models indicate a daytime high of 17–18°C in Munich on September 21, driven by northwest winds advecting cooler maritime air and extensive cloud cover that reduces solar insolation. This setup aligns with climatological norms for late September, when average highs fall to around 19°C amid strengthening high-pressure systems over northern Europe. Model consensus shows limited diurnal warming potential due to persistent stratiform clouds and light showers, keeping maxima below seasonal peaks. Trader positioning reflects these stable signals, with implied probabilities concentrated on 17°C and 18°C outcomes as resolution approaches. Updated guidance from agencies like the German Weather Service will refine the exact peak ahead of market close.
