Recent forecasts from multiple models, including GFS data, indicate a strong northerly flow and frontal system will bring widespread cloud cover, showers, and thunderstorms to Istanbul on September 23, limiting daytime heating after warmer conditions earlier in the week. Official and ensemble guidance consistently points to a daily maximum near 17°C, with hourly peaks unlikely to exceed 18°C amid northerly winds of 10–18 km/h and high humidity. This aligns with climatological norms for late September but reflects a sharp drop from the 24–26°C highs observed on September 21. Trader consensus favoring 16–18°C outcomes reflects model agreement on these thresholds, though minor forecast revisions in the next 24–48 hours could shift probabilities if steering patterns or precipitation timing change.
