Recent National Weather Service and local forecasts for Denver on September 23 converge on a high in the mid to upper 70s under mostly cloudy skies, with a 20-30% chance of afternoon showers tied to a passing disturbance. This setup has suppressed daytime heating relative to the prior sunny period, aligning with historical September averages near 76°F and positioning the 76-77°F bin as the market favorite. Key variables include the timing and extent of any cloud breaks, which could push readings toward 78-79°F, versus steadier moisture that caps them near 74-75°F. Updated model runs and surface observations through the morning will refine the final maximum before resolution.
