National Weather Service forecasts for Houston on September 24, 2026, call for mostly sunny skies with a high near 94–96°F amid a warm, humid air mass and light northeast winds. These conditions favor strong daytime heating without significant cloud cover or frontal passages to limit temperatures. The market's heaviest weighting on the 92–93°F bin, followed by 94–95°F, reflects trader consensus around the lower end of official guidance while incorporating typical forecast spread and historical September variability. Above-average readings relative to the 1991–2020 normal of roughly 88°F underscore the ongoing late-summer heat pattern, with minimal precipitation risk and stable steering flow expected to hold through the day. Updated model runs and afternoon observations will provide the final resolution data.
