Current forecasts from the National Weather Service and major models show Austin highs on September 25 stabilizing in the mid-to-upper 90s, with point predictions clustered near 96–98°F under persistent high pressure, light easterly winds, and low precipitation chances below 10%. These conditions limit daytime mixing and cloud cover that could otherwise suppress maxima, while unseasonably warm regional temperatures this week provide a warm baseline. Model consensus has held steady over the past 24–48 hours without signals of an approaching front or increased moisture that might alter outcomes. This scientific context aligns with market-implied odds, where the 96–97°F and 98–99°F bins hold the bulk of probability as the most likely resolution range under current guidance.
