Recent polls ahead of Quebec’s October 5 election show the Parti Québécois holding a narrow lead near 29 percent, with the Coalition Avenir Québec rebounding to roughly 23–24 percent and the Quebec Liberal Party near 20–22 percent. This positioning leaves the CAQ as the clearest contender for second-most seats, consistent with its stronger regional support outside Montreal and gains among older voters. The Liberals remain competitive in urban ridings but have lost ground overall, while the Conservatives and Québec solidaire trail further back in seat projections. Trader consensus reflected in current pricing assigns the CAQ the highest implied probability for second place, with other parties facing steeper barriers given the latest polling averages and seat models. Upcoming debates and final campaign shifts could still alter regional dynamics before election day.
