Recent polling consistently positions Apvienotais saraksts (AS) as the frontrunner to secure the most seats in Latvia’s October 3 Saeima election, with support near 23-24 percent amid a fragmented field where multiple parties hover near or above the 5 percent threshold. AS benefits from incumbency under Prime Minister Andris Kulbergs and gains in summer surveys that widened its lead over challengers such as Suverēnā vara (SV), Latvia First (LPV), and the Progressives (PRO). Traders reflect this trajectory in elevated probabilities for AS, while smaller shares assigned to LPV, PRO, and SV align with their more variable but still competitive polling. The proportional system and coalition dynamics after election night remain key variables that could influence final seat totals.
