Official forecasts from Environment Canada project a mainly sunny high of 23°C for Toronto on September 10, supported by northwest winds gusting to 40 km/h and humidex values near 26, aligning closely with the 1991–2020 climatological average of 23.1°C. Market-implied odds favoring 25°C reflect trader assessments of urban heat-island effects at official measurement sites, potential model warming in afternoon ensembles, and reduced cloud cover allowing stronger solar heating. Differentiation among 24–26°C hinges on precise peak timing, boundary-layer mixing under breezy conditions, and minor variations in observed dew points or insolation. Historical records show highs reaching 26°C or above roughly 30–40% of recent Septembers under similar setups, underscoring the narrow uncertainty band traders are pricing.
