General elections in Bosnia and Herzegovina are scheduled to be held on October 4, 2026, including the election of the President and two Vice-Presidents of the political entity of Republika Srpska. This market will resolve according to the listed candidate elected to serve as President of Republika Srpska as a result of this election. A candidate elected as a Vice-President of Republika Srpska will not count. Interim, temporary, or acting Presidents of Republika Srpska will not count. If no such President has been elected by March 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "Other". The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina (izbori.ba); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Savo Minić, the SNSD nominee and current Prime Minister of Republika Srpska, leads the presidential market at 60.5% implied probability ahead of the October 4, 2026 general election. Traders price him ahead of main challenger Branko Blanuša of the SDS at 36%, with the long list of other registered candidates—mostly minor or independent figures from Bosniak, Croat, and smaller Serb parties—trading at negligible levels. Recent campaign activity shows Minić highlighting economic initiatives, diplomatic outreach yielding investment and backing from major powers, and continuity with the ruling party's institutional networks. The SDS candidate, who came within roughly two points of victory in the disputed 2025–26 early election that featured recounts and partial re-votes, has not yet closed the gap in the current cycle. Market pricing reflects the structural advantages of the incumbent party in a fragmented field, while leaving room for shifts if opposition consolidation or turnout patterns change before election day.
