Recent National Weather Service and private model guidance for Atlanta points to a minimum temperature in the lower 60s on September 23 amid easterly winds of 10-15 mph and a 20-50% chance of showers, consistent with the seasonal average low near 63°F. Trader sentiment, however, has coalesced around the 70-71°F bin at 42% implied probability because recent overnight readings have held in the upper 60s to low 70s amid above-normal warmth, and models show only modest cooling rather than a sharp drop. The 82°F-or-higher outcome at 32% reflects residual uncertainty about any late-day stabilization or measurement timing at the official Hartsfield-Jackson site, while lower bins below 65°F remain discounted at under 25% given the limited steering influence from current high pressure and lack of strong cold advection. Updated forecast discussions and any overnight observations ahead of market close will be the next key inputs.
