In Peru's 2026 Liga 1, the aggregate table after 27 matches remains tightly contested for second place behind Alianza Lima's 56 points, with Universitario on 49, Deportivo Garcilaso on 48, FBC Melgar on 46, and Cusco FC on 45. Recent Clausura results, including Garcilaso's 4-0 win over Universitario and Sport Huancayo's 3-2 victory over UTC, have kept momentum fluid across the field. Multiple sides retain realistic paths to the runner-up spot through strong home form, favorable remaining fixtures, and potential points swings in the second half of the Clausura. Trader consensus reflects this parity, with no single contender establishing a decisive edge amid the league's balanced schedule and variable recent performances.
