The Venezuelan Primera División's 2026 Clausura remains highly competitive midway through, with Metropolitanos holding a narrow lead in the standings on strong recent form while Deportivo Táchira, Academia Puerto Cabello, Carabobo, and several others sit within a handful of points. This parity across the table, driven by inconsistent results among top sides and frequent draws in key matches, leaves the race for second place in the aggregate standings or playoff qualification wide open. Recent results, including tight contests involving UCV, Portuguesa, and Estudiantes de Mérida, underscore how momentum shifts quickly in a league with limited separation between contenders. Trader consensus reflects this balance, pricing multiple clubs near even odds as the season heads toward its decisive phase.

If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of Venezuelan Primera División for the 2026 season per the rules of Venezuelan Primera División (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No".
If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If this event is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The resolution source will be official information from the Venezuelan Primera División; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
