Current forecasts from the National Weather Service and other models indicate overnight lows near 72–73°F for Atlanta on September 11 amid southerly flow and increasing Gulf moisture, supporting the tight clustering of market-implied probabilities around mid-70s and both extremes. Persistent high pressure offshore and a developing low to the west are sustaining above-normal warmth and humidity while limiting radiational cooling, with scattered thunderstorms expected to add cloud cover that could further moderate temperature drops. This setup contrasts with the 1991–2020 climatological average low of roughly 67°F for the date and explains why traders assign comparable weight to bins above 84°F versus 65°F or below. Fresh model runs and updated National Weather Service briefings over the next 24 hours will likely refine the exact minimum before resolution.
