**Trader consensus on the Polymarket for San Francisco’s highest temperature on September 22, 2026, centers on the 66–71°F range, with 68–69°F leading at 36% implied probability.** Official National Weather Service forecasts issued September 21 project a Tuesday high near 68–70°F under partly cloudy skies after morning marine-layer influence and light drizzle chances. Southwest winds of 5–15 mph are expected to maintain onshore flow, limiting warming while gradual clearing allows afternoon temperatures to reach the upper 60s to low 70s. Key differentiating factors include the strength and timing of the marine layer, which typically caps coastal highs in this season, versus any reduction in cloud cover or slight offshore wind shift that could add 1–2°F. Model guidance shows limited spread, with most runs clustering in the 65–70°F band consistent with climatological norms for late September. No significant synoptic changes or heat intrusions are indicated in the latest updates, keeping probabilities tightly grouped around the NWS point forecast and supporting the market’s narrow distribution across the 66–71°F outcomes.
