National Weather Service forecasts position a high near 66°F as the most likely outcome for San Francisco on September 21, with morning marine layer and possible light drizzle giving way to partial clearing and southwest winds of 5-15 mph. This aligns with current model consensus showing temperatures several degrees below the 70.6°F seasonal average high, as persistent onshore flow suppresses warming. Trader consensus around 64-69°F reflects these conditions and the limited potential for further inland heating before sunset, while lower-probability bins above 70°F would require unexpected rapid clearing or weaker marine influence. Updated observations through the afternoon will refine final resolution.
