Traders in the Collin County segment of the Texas U.S. Senate race assign James Talarico the highest implied probability at 58 percent, ahead of Ken Paxton at 38.5 percent, while multiple other candidates trade near even money. This positioning reflects the county’s evolution into a competitive suburban battleground where Democratic performance has strengthened in recent cycles through gains among independents and higher turnout in urban-adjacent precincts. Paxton’s path depends on consolidating Republican support after a contentious primary against the prior incumbent, while Talarico’s strategy emphasizes affordability messaging and coalition-building in areas like Collin. The presence of several candidates at 50 percent underscores uncertainty over vote fragmentation or late shifts in minor-party support. Scheduled debates in the coming weeks and continued fundraising differentials could alter county-level margins before early voting begins.

The candidates will be primarily ranked by the number of valid votes received in the specified election. The nominees of the Democratic and Republican parties are named in the contract for the convenience of traders. In the event that any named candidate is replaced as the nominee of their respective party prior to election day, the name in the contract will be updated and the market will resolve based on the replacement nominee of the party.
If the results of the election in the specified county are not definitively known by March 31, 2027, this market will resolve to "Other."
This market will resolve based on a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve based solely on the official results as reported by the government of Texas, including the Office of the Secretary of State and the government of Collin County.
