Incumbent Republican Stephanie Bice holds an 87.5% implied probability in the OK-05 House election market, reflecting the district’s consistent Republican lean and her established position as a three-term representative. The seat carries a Partisan Voter Index around R+9, with Donald Trump carrying the district by double digits in 2024, and forecasters across Cook, Inside Elections, and Sabato’s Crystal Ball rate the race Solid or Safe Republican. Bice faced no primary opposition and maintains a substantial fundraising edge with nearly $2 million in cash on hand. Democrat Jena Nelson secured her party’s nomination in June after defeating labor-backed challenger Trey Martin but trails significantly in structural metrics. With the November 3 general election approaching, recent developments have produced no measurable shift in the race’s fundamentals.

A candidate's party will be determined by their ballot-listed or otherwise identifiable affiliation with that party at the time all of the 2026 House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources. A candidate without a ballot-listed affiliation to either the Democrat or Republican parties will be considered a member of one of these parties based on the party with which they most recently expressed their intent to caucus at the time all of the House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources.
This market will resolve based on the result of the election as indicated by a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve based solely on the official results as reported by the United States government, specifically the Federal Election Commission (https://www.fec.gov/).
