Mexico's annual inflation for 2026 trades with the 4.00-4.49% band as the clear leader at 37.5% implied probability, reflecting recent monthly readings that eased to 3.12% in July before ticking up to 3.26% in August. Core inflation remains sticky near 3.9%, driven by services prices, while non-core components have provided temporary relief. Banxico has held its policy rate at 6.50% since May, maintaining a restrictive stance aligned with above-target expectations and labor market conditions. Analysts project year-end 2026 headline inflation near 4.0%, consistent with market pricing, ahead of the next data release and September policy decision.
