Current National Weather Service forecasts and ensemble models indicate a Tuesday high near 67°F for downtown San Francisco, driven by persistent onshore flow and a moderate marine layer that limits daytime warming along the immediate coast. This aligns with the market’s leading outcomes clustered at 66–69°F, reflecting trader assessment of typical September coastal climatology where ocean temperatures and stratus clouds cap peaks well below inland readings. Recent observations show no strong offshore wind event or clear-sky surge that would push values into the low 70s, though minor forecast adjustments on marine-layer depth remain possible before resolution. Historical September averages near 70°F provide context, but the current pattern favors the lower end of seasonal norms.
