Suhas Subramanyam, the Democratic incumbent first elected in 2024, holds a commanding position in Virginia’s 10th Congressional District due to the seat’s consistent Democratic lean, reflected in partisan voting indices around D+6 and multiple nonpartisan ratings classifying it as Solid or Safe Democratic. He faced no primary opposition after winning the open seat by roughly 12 points in 2024, while raising over $1.1 million compared with Republican nominee Dave Beckwith’s approximately $107,000. Beckwith, an Air Force veteran who won his August 2026 primary by a wide margin, trails in a district encompassing fast-growing Northern Virginia suburbs with high education levels and federal contractor employment. The general election on November 3, 2026, features additional independent candidates, but trader pricing aligns with historical base rates favoring incumbents in similarly rated districts. Late developments such as national economic shifts, turnout surges among Republican-leaning exurban voters, or unforeseen candidate-specific events could still alter the outcome before ballots close.

A candidate's party will be determined by their ballot-listed or otherwise identifiable affiliation with that party at the time all of the 2026 House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources. A candidate without a ballot-listed affiliation to either the Democrat or Republican parties will be considered a member of one of these parties based on the party with which they most recently expressed their intent to caucus at the time all of the House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources.
This market will resolve based on the result of the election as indicated by a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve based solely on the official results as reported by the United States government, specifically the Federal Election Commission (https://www.fec.gov/).
