Incumbent Democrat Jon Ossoff holds consistent polling leads of roughly 7 points over Republican nominee Mike Collins in the 2026 Georgia Senate race, with recent surveys showing Ossoff near or above 50 percent support. This positioning, combined with limited third-party vote share in head-to-head matchups, underpins the high trader consensus that one candidate will secure an outright majority on November 3 and avoid Georgia’s December 1 runoff requirement. The race features standard general-election dynamics in a state where suburban Atlanta turnout and independent voters often determine margins. Late developments such as shifts in undecided voters, turnout surprises among key blocs, or unexpected third-party strength could still alter the outcome before Election Day.
