Incumbent Republican Abraham Hamadeh holds a strong position in Arizona’s 8th Congressional District ahead of the November 3 general election, reflecting the seat’s solid Republican lean and his 2024 victory margin. The West Valley district, covering areas including Glendale, Peoria, and parts of Maricopa and Yavapai counties, has consistently favored GOP candidates in recent cycles. Hamadeh advanced unopposed through the July 21 Republican primary, while Democrat Bernadette Greene-Placentia secured her party’s nomination by defeating Raymond Keeler. Nonpartisan ratings classify the race as safely Republican, aligning with trader consensus on Hamadeh’s reelection prospects despite the standard uncertainties of a midterm environment and potential late-cycle shifts in turnout or national conditions.
