This market will resolve to the player who wins the 2026 National League Platinum Glove award for the 2026 MLB Season. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLB rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 MLB season is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from Major League Baseball; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Pete Crow-Armstrong’s commanding 92% implied probability for the NL Platinum Glove reflects his league-leading defensive metrics as the Cubs center fielder, including top rankings in Outs Above Average, Fielding Run Value (around 27), and run prevention that outpace all other NL position players. Building on his 2025 Gold Glove, the 24-year-old has delivered elite range, arm strength, and highlight plays while posting historic overall production that includes a 40-40 chase and near-10 fWAR season. The wide gap to Jared Triolo, Matt Chapman, and the rest of the field stems from their lower advanced defensive numbers and less consistent standout play. Late injuries or unusual fan-voting swings remain the primary realistic paths for any shift, though Crow-Armstrong’s sustained edge through mid-September makes such outcomes unlikely.
