Recent official forecasts from METMalaysia and international models project a daily maximum of 30–34°C in Kuala Lumpur on September 11, with most guidance centering on 31–32°C. Thunderstorm activity expected through the afternoon, driven by high humidity near 80–95% and light southerly winds, is the main factor limiting peak heating and supporting the market’s emphasis on 31°C. Historical September averages near 30–32°C and recent observations of 32°C highs on September 10 provide context for trader consensus around these levels. Updated model runs and any shifts in convective timing ahead of the close will likely determine whether probabilities tilt toward 30°C or 32°C.
