Recent National Weather Service and private forecast models indicate San Francisco overnight lows on September 11 will likely settle in the upper 50s to low 60s as onshore flow and the marine layer strengthen after the mid-week heat wave that pushed daytime highs into the 90s. Typical September climatology shows average lows near 56°F, but the post-heat recovery and variable cloud cover introduce modest uncertainty around the precise minimum. These conditions underpin the market’s emphasis on the 60-61°F bin as the leading outcome, with nearby 58-59°F and 62-63°F ranges capturing residual model spread and the chance of slightly stronger or weaker cooling.
