**Official observations confirm a maximum temperature of 71°F in Denver on September 15, 2026, aligning with the market's 72-73°F outcome at near-100% implied probability.** The National Weather Service Denver/Boulder climate summary recorded this peak at 3:59 PM MDT, nine degrees below the 1991–2020 normal high of 80°F and well short of the 94°F record set in 2018. A cool front and increased cloud cover produced this seasonal dip, with forecasters anticipating around 72°F amid a slight afternoon rain chance. Trader consensus reflects the convergence of pre-event model guidance and the subsequent verified reading, leaving minimal room for other bins. The only realistic challenges would involve post hoc data revisions from the primary observing station or an unforeseen measurement discrepancy, both highly improbable given the consistency across official sources.
