**Recent criminal charges against looksmaxxing influencer Clavicular (Braden Peters) for rape, drugging for sexual intercourse, and procuring alcohol for a minor have shaped trader views, yet the market prices "No" conviction at 55.5%.** The complaint, issued September 8 in Massachusetts district court over a May 2025 incident, stems from the same allegations in a related Florida civil suit; Peters faces arraignment October 14 but remains unserved with no trial date set. Legal proceedings at this early stage introduce substantial uncertainty, including potential dismissals, plea negotiations, or acquittal, consistent with historical patterns where many felony charges do not result in convictions. Traders appear to weigh the presumption of innocence and extended timeline against the serious nature of the accusations when assessing resolution odds.

This market will resolve to “Yes” if Clavicular is convicted of rape in this prosecution by June 30, 2028, 11:59 PM ET, whether by a verdict of the court or by a plea agreement, accepted by the court, in which he pleads guilty to or admits the offense of rape. Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No”.
A conviction on the rape charge, or on any amended or substituted charge that is itself a form of rape under the charging statute, including aggravated rape or statutory rape, will qualify. A conviction solely on other charges, including drugging a person for sex, furnishing alcohol to a minor, indecent assault and battery, or any other offence that is not a form of rape, will not qualify.
If the rape charge is dismissed, withdrawn, or ended by a pardon or other clemency before a verdict, or the case is resolved by a plea agreement in which he does not plead guilty to or admit a qualifying offence, this market will resolve to “No”. If no verdict has been rendered by June 30, 2028, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to “No”.
This market will resolve according to the initial judgment rendered in this case. Sentencing and any appeals will have no bearing on the resolution of this market.
The primary resolution source will be an official judgment delivered by the ruling court; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
