Recent polling averages place the Parti Québécois first near 29 percent, followed closely by the Coalition Avenir Québec at 23-24 percent and the Parti Libéral du Québec at 20-22 percent, with the Parti Conservateur du Québec at 15-16 percent and Québec solidaire near 10 percent. This ordering leaves the PLQ positioned for third place in both popular vote and likely seat totals, especially given its concentration on Montreal Island and weaker performance elsewhere. The CAQ has gained ground under new leader Christine Fréchette amid trade and economic messaging, while the PLQ has lost support since earlier in the year. Regional fragmentation, including PCQ strength in Quebec City and ongoing campaign dynamics ahead of the October 5 vote, sustains the contest for lower positions. Trader consensus reflected in current pricing aligns with these vote and seat projections from aggregators.
