Recent polls in the final weeks of the October 5 Quebec general election campaign show the Parti Québécois holding a clear lead in vote intention, while the Parti libéral du Québec edges or ties the Coalition Avenir Québec for second place amid shifting regional support and high numbers of undecided voters. Seat projections reflect this contest, with the PLQ positioned to secure enough ridings for official opposition status in many simulations, though the CAQ retains competitive strength in key areas. Ongoing debates and late-campaign movement among smaller parties such as the Parti conservateur du Québec and Québec solidaire add volatility that could alter the second-place outcome before election night. Trader consensus on these probabilities reflects the narrow margins and sensitivity to final turnout patterns.
