Recent Met Office guidance projects a 23°C high for London on September 11 under westerly flow and variable cloud, aligning with the narrow market lead for 23°C (42.5%) over 22°C (37.5%). Global models show modest spread due to differences in boundary-layer mixing, timing of any thin high cloud, and Atlantic air advection, which can trim peak temperatures by 1°C. Official hourly profiles peak near 23°C in the afternoon with low precipitation risk, while GFS-based outlooks favor slightly cooler maxima around 22°C. Updated model runs and Met Office briefings over the next 48 hours will refine these variables ahead of market resolution.
