**Persistent late-summer heat across North Texas has driven Dallas to a confirmed high of 101°F on September 9, 2026, according to National Weather Service observations at DFW Airport.** Clear skies, southerly winds around 10 mph, and a strong high-pressure ridge maintained above-normal temperatures roughly 10°F above the 91°F seasonal average, with heat indices reaching 105–109°F amid dew points in the upper 60s. Recent model runs and prior days exceeding 100°F reinforced trader expectations for this exact range, producing the near-certain market-implied probability. Only an unexpected measurement revision or station-specific anomaly could alter the official high, though NWS data already align with the dominant 100–101°F outcome.
