Current forecast models from sources including WeatherBug and Ventusky point to overnight lows of 12–14°C for Mexico City on September 11, driven by the ongoing rainy season with expected cloud cover, showers, and thunderstorms that limit radiational cooling at the city's 2,240-meter elevation. These conditions moderate the typical diurnal range, where clearer skies would allow greater nighttime heat loss and push minima lower, while persistent precipitation tends to keep temperatures closer to daytime values around 22–24°C. Historical September averages near 12°C provide baseline context, but short-term model spreads and timing of rainfall introduce the observed market balance between mid-teens and single-digit outcomes. Updated NHC or local meteorological service guidance on storm tracks could shift trader consensus before resolution.
