Ulises Mejía Haro holds the strongest position in trader assessments for the 2027 Zacatecas gubernatorial race, reflecting consistent leads in Morena internal polling from mid-2026 surveys by firms such as Enkoll, DPD, and GobernArte, where he often outpaces Verónica Díaz Robles by double-digit margins within the dominant party. Morena maintains broad voter affinity around 35-40% statewide, far ahead of PRI and PAN, making the internal nomination the primary contest that will likely decide the outcome. Recent developments include Mejía Haro's growing margins in July measurements and ongoing candidate positioning ahead of formal coordination definitions, while Díaz Robles and Geovanna Bañuelos de la Torre retain secondary support. The market remains balanced because the nomination process continues without a final selection, leaving room for shifts from additional polling, party negotiations, or turnout dynamics among key voting blocs. Events such as upcoming internal votes, public endorsements, or changes in security and economic indicators tracked in the current administration could widen or narrow these probabilities before the general election.
