The upcoming October 9–10, 2026, Czech municipal elections in Pardubice will determine the new city council, which then elects the mayor through coalition negotiations rather than direct popular vote. Incumbent Jan Nadrchal leads the ANO ticket seeking re-election, while first deputy Jakub Rychtecký heads an expanded Žijeme Pardubice grouping that incorporates additional civic movements. Other contenders, including STAN’s Daniel Vondra and TOP 09-aligned Martin Slezák, field separate lists focused on local priorities such as transport, urban planning, and fiscal management. Trader consensus remains closely balanced because outcomes hinge on post-election seat shares, potential alliances among ANO, Žijeme Pardubice, and smaller parties, and any last-minute shifts in turnout or candidate positioning. Fresh polling on local preferences, final candidate list confirmations, or early signals of coalition intent could widen separation ahead of the vote.
