Early or special voting mechanisms that occur before election day (e.g., voting by soldiers or citizens abroad) will not affect resolution. Only the date of general election-day voting counts. The resolution source for this market will be a consensus of credible reporting. The Knesset dissolution on July 17, 2026, locked in the statutory election date of October 27 under Israel's Basic Law, marking the first full four-year term since 1988 without early dissolution. Coalition statements and Knesset House Committee actions in July confirmed no intent to advance or postpone the vote, while party list submissions by early September advanced the timetable without disruption. Diplomatic missions began early voting preparations on October 20, aligning with the fixed calendar amid ongoing coalition negotiations and opposition challenges. This procedural stability under the proportional representation system underpins trader consensus that the election will proceed as scheduled.
