Recent National Weather Service forecasts and observational data position the overnight low in Seattle at 54–55°F as the dominant outcome, driven by persistent marine layer clouds, light showers, and southerly winds maintaining mild advection over the region. These conditions suppress radiative cooling typical under clear skies, keeping minimum temperatures several degrees above the September climatological average of roughly 52°F. Model consensus shows limited overnight drops amid high humidity and 100% cloud cover through the period, with current readings near 55–57°F supporting the market-implied 87% probability on 54–55°F. Traders appear to weigh the strong consensus from official guidance against minor model spread that could allow a brief dip toward 52–53°F if winds slacken.
