Persistent marine air and extensive cloud cover with showers have capped daytime heating in Seattle on September 13, keeping the high temperature near 60°F according to official forecasts and real-time observations. Southwesterly winds off the cooler Pacific waters, combined with overcast skies and light precipitation through the afternoon, have suppressed solar warming and maintained mild conditions well below the September average high of about 71°F. National Weather Service guidance and multiple models converge on a daily maximum of 60–61°F, with limited afternoon clearing insufficient to push readings higher. This scientific setup explains trader consensus around the 60–61°F and 58–59°F brackets, as the day’s observed progression leaves little room for significant deviation before resolution.
