**Trader consensus at 100% for a 29°C high in Wuhan on September 15 reflects official METAR observations from Wuhan Tianhe International Airport (ZHHH), which recorded a daily maximum of exactly 29°C at 16:00 local time amid overcast skies, light easterly winds around 5–11 km/h, and moderate humidity near 40–60%.** This outcome aligns with climatological norms for mid-September in the region, where daily highs typically average near 29°C under similar subtropical conditions. Multiple forecast models and real-time station data converged on this value without significant afternoon warming, as cloud cover limited solar heating. A realistic shift would require an unexpected late-day spike above 29°C in remaining hourly readings or a post-event data revision by monitoring agencies, though current trends make such changes improbable before market resolution.
