Official measurements from National Weather Service stations, including Central Park, recorded a daily high of 81°F on September 18, 2026, under partly cloudy skies with light northerly winds. This outcome aligns with model guidance and exceeds the 1991–2020 climatological average high of 75.6°F while remaining well below historical records near 91°F. Trader consensus at near-certain implied probability for the 80–81°F bin reflects these verified observations rather than forecasts. Minor adjustments could arise only from final quality-controlled data revisions or station-specific discrepancies, both rare for this well-monitored urban site.
