Recent National Weather Service observations and forecasts for Seattle show a daily maximum temperature in the low 60s°F, driven by persistent cloud cover, light northerly winds, and suppressed daytime heating under mild late-September conditions. Hourly readings have hovered near 59–61°F through midday with only modest afternoon rises expected, aligning closely with climatological baselines around 62°F for the date. This data underpins the market's strong emphasis on 62–63°F at 53.5% implied probability, with 64–65°F as a secondary outcome at 34%, as traders weigh model consensus and real-time updates from NOAA stations. Limited precipitation risk and stable atmospheric patterns further anchor sentiment around these narrow ranges ahead of final daily readings.
