This market will resolve to "Yes" if the Treasury 30-year yield is lower than the listed value for any date between September 3, 2026 and September 30, 2026. Otherwise this market will resolve to "No". This market will resolve as soon as the Treasury 30-year yield is lower than the listed value, or once data is available for September 30, 2026. If no qualifying value is published and data is not available for September 30, 2026 by October 14, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "No". The resolution source for this market is the Department of the treasury, specifically the data listed under "Daily Treasury Par Yield Curve Rates" for the column "30 Yr" (see: https://home.treasury.gov/resource-center/data-chart-center/interest-rates/TextView?type=daily_treasury_yield_curve&field_tdr_date_value=2026).The Federal Reserve’s September 16 decision to raise the federal funds rate by 25 basis points to the 3.75-4.00% range, coupled with projections showing a median endpoint of 4.1% by year-end 2026 and elevated PCE inflation at 3.7%, has been the dominant driver of 30-year Treasury yields. The 30-year yield traded near 5.29% on September 17 after easing from a mid-month peak above 5.36%, reflecting initial repricing of tighter policy alongside some relief from lower oil prices. With industrial production and other late-month data releases still ahead, traders are weighing how much further downside in yields is plausible before September ends versus the risk of renewed upward pressure from hawkish policy signals and sticky inflation readings.
