Trader sentiment for the third-ranked Code Arena WebDev AI lab by end-November centers on the tight race among mid-tier contenders behind OpenAI and Anthropic leaders. OpenAI’s recent GPT-6 Astra release vaulted it to the top with strong agentic web-dev scores, while Anthropic’s Claude Fable and Opus variants hold consistent #2 positioning through reliable multi-step reasoning. Chinese labs including Alibaba’s Qwen3.8, Moonshot’s Kimi K3, Z.ai’s GLM series, and DeepSeek models trade near the front due to competitive Pareto performance at lower costs, narrowing gaps on human-voted frontend and full-stack tasks. Meta, Tencent, and others add volatility through ongoing releases, with accumulating votes and potential November updates likely to shift lab rankings before resolution.
