Recent polling averages place the Parti Québécois first at around 29%, the Coalition Avenir Québec second near 23-24%, and the Quebec Liberal Party third at 20-22%, with the Conservative Party of Quebec and Québec solidaire trailing further back. This positioning has held steady in early September surveys from Léger and Pallas Data, as the campaign solidifies voter intentions ahead of the October 5 vote. The CAQ’s rebound under Premier Christine Fréchette has drawn support away from the PLQ, whose francophone backing has weakened, while regional strengths for the PCQ in Quebec City and the PLQ in Montreal have not altered the overall order. Traders’ consensus reflects these seat-projection models showing the PLQ as the clearest candidate for third place, with limited recent shifts likely to reorder the middle of the field before election day.
