Cora turned down an interim offer after his April 2026 Red Sox dismissal to prioritize family time. Don Mattingly sits at 13.5% after guiding the club from a 9-19 start as interim manager to a contending 82-64 record and strong NL East position as of early September. Other candidates such as Bruce Bochy, Ryan Flaherty, and Brandon Hyde trail with single-digit shares, reflecting limited recent connections or internal momentum. The Phillies’ playoff push and Dombrowski’s preference for proven leadership continue to shape trader positioning ahead of an expected offseason decision.
