Katie Hobbs holds an 85.5% implied probability of carrying Maricopa County in the November 2026 Arizona gubernatorial election, far ahead of Republican nominee Andy Biggs at 8%, with other listed candidates at 50%. As the Democratic incumbent seeking a second term, Hobbs benefits from consistent polling leads of roughly 6–7 points statewide among likely voters, strong performance in suburban Maricopa, and advantages in fundraising and name recognition. Biggs secured the Republican nomination in July with over 70% of the primary vote after consolidating support, including from former President Trump, but trails in general-election surveys. Maricopa’s large share of independent and suburban voters continues to anchor trader assessments of county-level outcomes ahead of the November 3 general election.
