Lula holds a commanding position in Pernambuco for the October 4 first-round presidential vote due to sustained regional backing in the Northeast, where recent polls from AtlasIntel, Datafolha, and Real Time Big Data show him at 54-58% against Flávio Bolsonaro in the low-to-mid 20s and all other listed candidates below 5%. Trader consensus reflected in the 97.5% odds aligns with his steady approval ratings near 60% in the state and limited inroads by challengers despite national polarization. Factors reinforcing this include historical voting patterns favoring PT candidates and consistent leads exceeding 20 points across multiple surveys. Scenarios that could narrow the gap remain narrow, such as sharp turnout shifts among undecided voters or unforeseen campaign developments in the final weeks before the ballot.
