Official NWS observations from Central Park recorded a daily minimum of 70–71°F on September 9, 2026, under persistently warm overnight conditions with southerly flow and limited radiational cooling. This aligns with model consensus and recent climatological trends showing elevated minimum temperatures during late-summer warm spells. Trader consensus at 98.4% implied probability reflects the high reliability of these verified station readings for market resolution. Only an unexpected data revision or use of an alternate reporting threshold could realistically alter the outcome.
