Recent National Weather Service and ensemble model guidance points to northwest winds and mostly clear skies overnight into September 11, supporting radiational cooling after daytime highs near 78–80°F. This setup favors an overnight low in the upper 60s, consistent with the market’s tight clustering around 68–71°F. Historical Central Park normals place the September 11 average low near 63°F, so current readings reflect a modestly warmer-than-normal airmass with limited cold advection. Key uncertainties include exact wind speeds, which could limit cooling if breezier than forecast, or any late cloud cover that would raise the minimum. Updated model runs and NWS briefings over the next 24 hours will likely refine the range before resolution.
