Forecast models from sources including the National Weather Service and private providers indicate a Monday high temperature in New York City most likely in the upper 60s to low 70s, aligning with the market's heavy weighting toward 68–71°F bins. A frontal passage on Sunday has established northeasterly flow and persistent cloud cover, suppressing daytime heating below the late-September climatological average near 75°F. Limited insolation, dew points in the 50s–60s, and brisk NNE winds around 10–15 mph further cap the maximum. Minor model spread exists on the precise peak depending on the timing of any afternoon clearing, but the consensus supports the current implied probabilities without strong signals for outliers above 73°F or below 67°F. Updated National Weather Service guidance and hourly observations tomorrow will provide the final resolution data.
